Terms of Service

By using HiringX ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

1. Service Description

HiringX provides an AI-assisted referral outreach product: it helps you discover contacts at target companies, draft personalized messages, send email from your connected Gmail account when you configure it to do so, send follow-ups within product rules, and track and classify replies. Features and limits may change; material changes will be communicated as described below.

2. Account Requirements

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

3. Gmail and Google user data

Connecting Gmail is optional. If you connect Google, you do so under Google's terms and policies, and you authorize HiringX to use the Gmail API only within the OAuth scopes you approve at connection time.

We use that access to operate the Service: to send outreach and follow-up messages from your email address (including automated sends when you enable automatic send mode and start the agent, within product limits—not only when you press send in Gmail); to register for inbox notifications and read Gmail data as needed to detect replies in threads related to your outreach; and to support response handling (such as classification) in the product. We do not use your Gmail data to show you third-party advertising, and we do not sell your Gmail data.

Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. How we collect, store, retain, and share data (including subprocessors such as AI inference providers) is described in our Privacy Policy.

You can revoke HiringX's access to your Google Account at any time in your Google Account security settings; that revokes our ability to call the Gmail API even if you still have a HiringX account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use HiringX only for legitimate job-seeking and professional networking purposes. You must not use the service to send spam, mislead recipients, harass individuals, or violate applicable law (including anti-spam and employment laws where they apply). Messages are sent from your identity; you are responsible for their content and for compliance with regulations that apply to you.

5. Rate Limits

To protect deliverability and recipients, we enforce sending limits (for example a maximum number of outreach sends per day per account) and follow-up rules (such as one follow-up per thread where the product provides it). Exact limits are those shown in the product or documentation at the time of use and may change.

6. Anti-Spam and Unsubscribe

Outreach through the Service is designed to include an unsubscribe mechanism for recipients. When a recipient unsubscribes, we suppress further outreach to that contact. You must not circumvent that suppression.

7. Billing

We may offer a free trial with a limited number of outreach sends (currently three) before a paid subscription is required. Paid plans, when available, are processed by our payment provider; fees, renewal, taxes, and refunds are governed by the checkout terms presented at purchase and the provider's policies. If you cancel a subscription, access may continue until the end of the paid period as shown at checkout; your agent may pause or change behavior when billing status no longer qualifies, as reflected in the product.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for hiring outcomes, replies, the accuracy of AI-generated text, or consequences of messages sent from your Gmail. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, if none, fifty dollars).

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk. You may stop using the Service at any time. To request account closure or deletion of personal data, contact privacy@hiringx.io. When an account is closed, we handle data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new "Last updated" date and, where changes are material, provide notice as appropriate (for example by email or in-app). Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance unless we say otherwise.
